I am honored to be reading the role of Professor Marlowe in RED CARAVAN Reads: Trigger Warning, a powerful new play by Leslie Erin Roth and Company.

When a sophomore on full financial aid withdraws from a top-ranked private college in 2012, she sends her account of campus rape and silencing to the student newspaper for publication with "nothing left to lose". TRIGGER WARNING, an interview-based play, follows 18 people whose lives forever change when her story goes public.

Directed by Sellers Webb. With Kristine Amarante, Rachael Balcanoff, Mary Caveat, Edward Chin-Lyn, Margaret Curry, Neal Gupta, Mario Haynes, Thomas Kopache, Lauren LaRocca, Gabriel Levey, Stephanie Linas, Teddi Millan, Katy Pinke, Mirirai Sithole, Christopher Tramantana and James Zebooker.

About RED CARAVAN Reads:

The RED CARAVAN Reads series promotes and advocates for a worthy non-profit organization that is thematically linked to their current production. By curating readings and events in various stages of development, they are giving space, promotion, and support to established and emerging artists from NYC’s theatrical community in order to raise both funds and awareness for the real issues of the community at large.

RED CARAVAN's inaugural series benefits New Alternatives, a center for LGBT homeless youth in NYC. An almost entirely volunteer-based grassroots non-profit, this organization works to increase the self-sufficiency of LGBT homeless youth by providing case management, education services, life-skills training, community-building activities, and a meal every Sunday. RED CARAVAN is hoping to raise resources and awareness for this organization, particularly as they are in danger of losing the space in which they run their center this June.

Ahhh, Spring! A time for new beginnings and renewal. Beautiful flowers pepper the cityscape, brightening the days with shocks of color. The trees green up and the city just feels "lighter" somehow. And the ducks return to my running route along the Hudson on the westside of Manhattan, which brings me such joy (especially on those reallllly long runs.)

It's a great time for latest looks/a new headshot. (Thank you, Joseph Moran.)

There are lots of juicy new projects in the works in addition to Trigger Warning. More to come. Oh, and I recently started a personal blog. There's a link at the foot of this email if you want to check it out.

And as always, I'd love to hear from you - what you are up to this Spring!

Happy Spring,
Margaret
